My 914 started life as a '72 914 and has been converted with a '65 911 2.0L engine which I to 2.2E specs. Owner: Tim Martin, Sunnyvale California.

Modified Air Deflector
Bruce Anderson's book advices that you make this L-shaped cut off the edge of the air deflectors. Later 911's had deflectors of this shape and it causes more efficient air flow that keeps the engine cooler.
