My 914 started life as a '72 914 and has been converted with a '65 911 2.0L engine which I to 2.2E specs. Owner: Tim Martin, Sunnyvale California.

Shift Linkage
The second day I owned the car the shift linkage broke. It sucked.

Broken Linkage
Here's what failed, the tail of the shift linkage was only tack welded on. So it broke pretty easily.
