My 914 started life as a '72 914 and has been converted with a '65 911 2.0L engine which I to 2.2E specs. Owner: Tim Martin, Sunnyvale California.

I relocated the battery tray to the front trunk. This not only avoids the troublesome rust issue, but it also gives me more room in the engine compartment and distributes the weight more evenly in the car.

Cut-off Switch

This is the cut-off switch assembly, ready to go in the car where the battery used to be located. This makes it easy to turn the power on and off easily from in the engine compartment.
