stitches west

Well Stitches West is coming back to Santa Clara February 16-19, 2005. For those of you who don't know, it's a knitting convention that happens every year just 10 minutes from my house. Yes, I am a big knitting geek. They have a great marketplace where you can buy lots of yummy yarn and they also offer lots of classes.

Last year I took 2 classes - Stashology and Demystifying Gauge. This year I am taking four!! Joy of Finishing taught by Christine Bylsma (who taught the stashology class I took last year), Where Do They Get Those Numbers? taught by Edie Eckman, Toe-Up Socks taught by Susie Hodges, and First Choices by Sally Melville. The last one now says that it is sold out, so I hope I submitted my request when there was still an opening.

I can't wait!

I've never taken a class, but I know I'll be there to shop. Guess I'd better use some yarn between now and then so the bf can see why I'd need to buy more. ;)

I wish I could take classes, but this year I will have a 2 week - 1 month old baby, so I just don't think it's going to happen! I hope to make it to the marketplace at least, though.

Thanks for linking to the class schedule, I was looking for that. Alas, the server is down right now.
